The 2025 Nissan Leaf is available in S and SV PLUS trims. The base S trim has 16-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, while the SV PLUS features 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels. Both trims showcase LED headlights with LED signature daytime running lights. The S trim includes body-color power outside mirrors, while the SV PLUS upgrades to heated outside mirrors with integrated LED turn signals. The front fascia incorporates a chrome V-Motion grille with blue accents, complemented by aerodynamic underbody panels and a rear diffuser. A rear spoiler with an integrated LED brake light completes the exterior design.

Each trim level offers different power configurations to meet varying driving needs. The S trim utilizes a 40kWh lithium-ion battery and a 110kW AC synchronous electric motor, generating 147 horsepower. The SV PLUS steps up to a 60kWh lithium-ion battery and a more potent 160kW AC synchronous electric motor, producing 214 horsepower. Both trims feature a front-wheel-drive configuration, delivering the immediate torque characteristic of electric powertrains.

The Leaf S gets 149 miles of estimated driving range, while the SV PLUS delivers an extended 212-mile range. In acceleration testing, the SV PLUS reaches 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds, with the S trim completing the same sprint in 8.4 seconds. Both models feature e-Pedal technology for one-pedal driving capability, maximizing efficiency through regenerative braking. The Eco mode further optimizes energy usage, with the SV PLUS demonstrating real-world capability by achieving 180 miles during highway testing at 75 mph.

Every Leaf features an 8-inch touch screen display and a 7-inch advanced drive-assist display. The S trim has cloth seats, while the SV PLUS adds premium cloth seats with synthetic leather accents. Standard automatic temperature control maintains cabin comfort. The 60/40-split folding rear seats enhance cargo flexibility.
