Rugged Luxury: The 2024 Nissan Armada

Few segments of the automobile market are as highly competitive and overcrowded as the full-sized SUV category, but the 2024 Nissan Armada offers such amazing value that it remains outstanding among its rivals. Though the line only contains three trims, you’ll find more standard features on the remarkably budget-friendly lowest trim than in comparable models. Design

You’ll notice the eight-seater 2024 Armada’s convenient features even before you enter it. The perimeter lighting function will illuminate the area all around the vehicle once you use the key fob to unlock it. A power tilting/telescoping steering wheel and heated power-folding side view mirrors with integrated turn indicators are also welcome conveniences.

The cabin’s interior was designed to provide maximum comfort. The heated front seats have lumbar support and the driver’s seat can be adjusted eight ways. A tri-zone climate system allows each row to choose its preferred temperatures. It also provides air filtration and rear seat vents.

Performance

The 2-24 Armada will deliver all the performance you’d ask from a full-sized SUV, regardless of the trim you choose. A standard 5.6-liter V8 engine and 7-speed automatic transmission power the whole Armada lineup. They deliver 400 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard on all models, but four-wheel drive is also available for all of them. The Armada has a maximum 1,724-pound payload capacity and a maximum towing capacity of 8,500 pounds.

Technology

The standard audio system in a 2024 Armada base model has six speakers, AM/FM/HD and satellite radio, and a 3.5-mm jack for headphones. Audio can be managed by voice activation or illuminated steering wheel-mounted controls. Speed-sensitive volume control, which automatically lowers or raises the audio system’s volume depending on the speed at which your vehicle is moving, is also standard.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen anchors the standard infotainment system, which features Apple CarPlay integration and Android Auto compatibility. Audio streaming and hands-free calling are provided via Bluetooth wireless connectivity. A trial subscription for SiriusXM-powered NissanConnect is also included. It supplies real-time weather and traffic, voice-activated navigation, a mobile hotspot, and more. The lowest trim comes with four USB ports, as well.
